Fianna Fáil candidate for Cork North Central.
I was honoured this past year serving as the Chairman of the Cobh Municipal District and while I have found the role very demanding I have enjoyed working with various community groups, sporting organisations and individual members across East Cork. I have gained valuable experience in the last few years acting as a local representative for Fianna Fáil, and I am confident that the experience I have gained has provided me with great perspective and knowledge of the inner workings of local government. I will be a first time candidate for Cork East in the upcoming General Election, whenever it happens and I have a particular interest in the areas of Education, Planning, Tourism and Housing. I believe that I can best represent the people of Cork East on these key policy issues. I look forward to meeting many of you over the next few months and promise you that I will be a strong committed worker for the people. If I can be of assistance in any way please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I am an Irish and History teacher with more than 10 years’ experience and in 2009 I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Politics from U.C.C. I have worked, and continue to work, with a variety of community and sporting organisations in the wider East
Cork area and I will endeavour to continue this work with your
support into the future.
